Our tour was a great experience
My husband and I recently took two tours with ACMT (Grampians via Great Ocean Road and Penguins to Prom). We enjoyed ourselves greatly and especially appreciated Peter’s extra efforts to seek out what would be of special interest to us, such as natural sites in the Grampians and the Australian Gardens. Peter also took us on a scenic ride along the coast at a point when he could easily have hopped on the freeway and avoided a lot of driving hassle. We learned so much more by having a guide (and didn’t have to worry about driving and finding our way, to boot!).

My family and I visited Phillip Island with Peter, from Australian Coastal Mountain Tours (Acmtours). A very nice trip with small group, more privacy and more enjoy. The beautiful Phillip Island with beautiful sea views. And many lovely friends there, such as fur seals at Nobbies, wild birds (including little penguin), wild wallabies, etc. At dusk, it’s time for Penguin Parade. How amazing to see those adorable little birds emerged from sea and walked to their homes (of course they’re rather disturbed by human presence).
A memorable trip with Peter. He’s kind and warm. We appreciated the time we spent with him. Thanks Peter.

Hi – Just wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed our tours last week with Rob Robson (hope I’ve spelled his name right!) – he did a wonderful job showing us the sights and we appreciated his flexibility. He did a good job of tailoring the trips to our interests, and it was a lovely way to see the area. We felt free to just enjoy ourselves and our time together – which is just what we’d hoped for. Sometimes guides can be a bit pushy, and more caught up with what they think we “should” see than what we actually “want” to see . . . .but Rob wasn’t like that at all. We were VERY pleased with the whole experience! Thank you!

We booked a Great Ocean Road tour with Peter Johns from acmtours.com.au which was absolutely great. From my first correspondence and thru today, the experience was great. When you book outside the cruise ship you are always worried if someone will actually be there at the pier. Peter was great about staying in contact with me before the tour so my confidence level was high that he would “be there” the day of our tour. Samuel was our guide and we had a great day visiting the Great ocean road and the 12 Apostle area. Samuel made sure we saw Kangaroos and Koala’s in the wild and cooked us a genuine Aussie barbie with kangaroo meat. We traveled in a new Mercedes SUV and we actually ended up being a tour party of two. The helicopter ride was great and Samuel let me use his digital camera on the helicopter. Samuel then sent us digital photos that he took that day. We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend acmtours!!!
